Guidance for Building a
Blessed Union

Surah Ar-Rum (30:21)

وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً
Transliteration:
Wa min aayaatihi an khalaqa lakum min anfusikum azwaajan litaskunoo ilayhaa wa ja'ala bainakum mawaddatan wa rahmah.
Translation:
"And among His signs is this: that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you love and mercy."

Hadith (Sunan At-Tirmidhi 3895)

خَيْرُكُمْ خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِهِ، وَأَنَا خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِي
Transliteration:
Khairukum khairukum li-ahlihi, wa anaa khairukum li-ahli.
Translation:
"The best of you is the one who is best to his family, and I am the best among you to my family."

Surah An-Nisa (4:19)

وَعَاشِرُوهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ
Transliteration:
Wa 'aashiroohunna bil ma'roof.
Translation:
"And live with them in kindness."

Surah Al-Hujurat (49:10)

إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ
Transliteration:
Innamal-mu'minoona ikhwatun.
Translation:
"The believers are but brothers [and sisters]."
