Confidentiality is the cornerstone of professional counseling ethics. All clients' personal information and the content of discussions will be securely stored, with any references made in anonymity to protect your privacy.
How long does counseling last?
he duration of counseling varies based on several factors, including the nature of the issue, the types of services required, and the client’s responsiveness. Sessions may range from a single day to several weeks or months.
What is the cost of counseling services?
Our services are completely free for all clients, whether they are NASFAT members or not. The committee's operational costs are covered by member contributions and any support from the NASFAT executive.
How can I participate in counseling services?
Participating is easy! Visit the counseling committee at the mosque extension, collect a registration form, and book your appointment. You’ll be on your way to receiving support!
Can you match me with a future partner?
While we do not directly arrange marriages, we provide essential counseling, education, and guidance on the key criteria for choosing the right spouse. Additionally, we can connect you with the Singles Forum of the NASFAT Youth Wing for further assistance in finding your ideal partner.
Do clients have to be NASFAT members?
No, our services are not limited to NASFAT members. While the committee aims to serve the counseling needs of NASFAT members, we welcome both Muslims and non-Muslims. We are dedicated to serving the broader community without discrimination.
Can I get financial assistance?
The primary focus of our committee is to offer guidance and counseling services. For financial assistance, we recommend contacting the Welfare and Zakat Committees. However, if we identify critical situations during counseling, we may refer clients to these committees for appropriate support.
Can marital problems affect one's health?
Yes, marital issues can significantly impact an individual's health. Ongoing conflicts may lead to stress, unhappiness, and psychological distress, which can deteriorate overall well-being over time. If you are experiencing marital difficulties, we encourage you to seek help from the counseling committee before the situation worsens.
